Abstract:
Between 8th and 14 th June, a side scan sonar survey was carried out along the WINDFLOAT electric cable route, offshore Viana do Castelo, in order to perform a high-resolution mapping of the seabed. This survey is part of the periodicinspection and geological survey plan for the WINDFLOAT Atlantic project cable, to be performed by HENGTONG OPTIC-ELETRIC CO., LDT. and includes a multi-beam survey and visual inspection of exposed sections of the cable.
