Abstract:
Under the scope of the maintenance plan for the WINDFLOAT Atlantic Project export cable, the Instituto Hidrográfico was contacted by HENGTONG to perform an inspection survey along the cable route. The acoustic survey of the seabed was carried out to obtais a hih-resolution images along the the electric cable in order to evaluate several morphological aspects that can affect cable integrity. The fieldwork took place from 1309-2021 to 14-10-2021, on board UAM Fisália, equipped with a KONGSBERG EM KLEIN3900 and KLEIN5000V2 for the side scan survey. This report describes the performed work and presents the final observations, being complemented with a GIS project
