dc.description.abstract	The objectives of the cruise P404 from Ponta Delgada to Funchal in April/May 2009 (02.09-15.09.2010) on board R/V Poseidon were: 1) to investigate the water column properties along a meridional transect (22°W from 31°N to 36.5°N) in order to localize the position of the Azores Front and to understand the changes in biogeochemical properties. 2) to perfome trials of the DNS system in deep sea (>5000m)
